Season 3 of the Pride of Hyderabad Awards marks a significant milestone in our journey, dedicated to honoring the leaders and organizations contributing to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year, we are proud to spotlight the remarkable efforts of those working across the 17 SDG categories, recognizing their dedication to fostering sustainable growth and development in Telangana State. By highlighting these efforts, we aim to inspire more individuals and organizations to contribute to a better and more inclusive future for all.
Focus of Season 3
In alignment with the global agenda for sustainable development, Season 3 of Pride of Hyderabad Awards will present accolades across 17 categories, corresponding to each of the SDGs. These categories encompass a wide range of critical areas, from eradicating poverty and ensuring quality education to promoting sustainable cities and combating climate change. By recognizing efforts in these diverse fields, we celebrate the multifaceted approach needed to achieve holistic development.
Award Categories:
For each of the 17 SDG categories, we will present two distinct awards
General Category Award: For profit or non-profit organizations making significant contributions towards the achievement of a specific SDG.
PWDs Category Award: For individuals with disabilities (PWDs) or organizations led by PWDs who are making impactful strides in SDG-related areas, particularly those focused on the needs and rights of PWDs.
Objectives
Recognize and Celebrate Achievements: Honor the dedication and accomplishments of individuals and organizations working towards the SDGs in Telangana.
Promote Awareness: Raise awareness about the importance of the SDGs and the critical work being done to achieve them.
Inspire Action: Encourage more individuals and organizations to take action towards sustainable development and inclusivity.
Foster Collaboration: Create opportunities for networking and collaboration among leaders and organizations committed to sustainable development.
