Selection Process

Round 1: Application Submission and Initial Screening

1. Application Submission: Interested individuals and organizations must submit a complete application form, detailing their contributions aligned with the chosen SDGs.
2. Initial Screening: Our expert panel will review all applications based on the specified criteria. Applications will be assessed for relevance, impact, and alignment with the selected SDGs.
3. Nomination for Round 2: Selected candidates will be nominated for the second round. Nominees will be notified via email and provided with details regarding the next steps.

Round 2: Jury Interview

1. Jury Interview: Nominees will undergo a jury interview where they will present their work and impact in greater detail. The jury panel consists of esteemed experts and leaders from various sectors.
2. Final Selection: Based on the interviews, the jury will select the final awardees. The decision will be made considering the depth, innovation, and sustainability of the nominees’ contributions.

Selection Criteria:

1. Relevance to SDGs: The extent to which the applicant’s work addresses and aligns with the selected Sustainable Development Goals.
2. Impact: Demonstrated positive impact on the community or specific groups, particularly in Telangana State.
3. Innovation: Creativity and innovation in approach, solutions, and implementation.
4. Sustainability: Long-term viability and sustainability of the project or initiative.
5. Scalability: Potential for the initiative to be scaled or replicated to benefit a larger audience.
6. Inclusivity: Efforts to include diverse groups, especially marginalized communities, including persons with disabilities (PWDs).
7. Collaboration: Partnerships and collaborations that enhance the effectiveness and reach of the initiative.

Terms and Conditions:

8. Eligibility: The awards are open to individuals (18 years above age) and organizations (one year above experience) working towards the achievement of the SDGs in Telangana State. In General category LGBTQ also consider.
9. Application Deadline: All applications must be submitted by the specified deadline. Late submissions will not be considered.
10. Jury Decision: The decision of the jury is final and binding. No correspondence regarding the jury’s decision will be entertained.
11. Use of Information: By submitting an application, the applicant agrees to the use of their information for promotional purposes related to the Pride of Hyderabad Awards.
12. Confidentiality: All application details and supporting documents will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of the award selection process.
13. Compliance: Applicants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Any form of malpractice or unethical behavior will lead to immediate disqualification.
14. Withdrawal: Nominees can withdraw their application at any stage before the final selection.
15. Promotion: Selected awardees agree to participate in promotional activities, including media interviews, photoshoots, and other related events.
16. Rights: The organizers reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the applicants promptly.
