Hideathon
Hideathon is a nationwide inclusive innovation challenge that discovers, nurtures, and empowers student-led ideas that solve real-world problems—especially those impacting marginalized communities, including Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).
It is a unique platform that brings together colleges, mentors, innovators, and ecosystem enablers to turn raw ideas into scalable social enterprises.

Mission
To identify and support student-led ideas from Tier 1, Tier 2, and rural institutions, and provide access to mentorship, skills, and seed funding for building impactful startups that create inclusive solutions.
How Hideathon Supports Students
Mission
- Idea Discovery : Helps students identify problems in their communities and frame them into workable ideas.
- Mentorship : Access to expert mentors from industry, academia, and incubation centers.
- Upskilling Workshops : Training in design thinking, prototyping, pitch development, and business modeling.
- Prototype Development Support: Guidance and resources to build and test MVPs (Minimum Viable Products).
- Pitching Opportunities : Platform to pitch ideas to jury panels, investors, and incubators.
- Funding Access : Top ideas receive seed support and connect with funding partners.
- Incubation Pathway : Shortlisted ideas get access to DE-Hub incubation or other ecosystem partners.
- Certification & Recognition: Participants and winners receive certificates and visibility through media and events.
- Inclusive Design Exposure : Students learn how to create solutions that are accessible and socially impactful.
- Collaboration Network : Connect with fellow student innovators, institutional leaders, and social enterprises.
